Our Vehicles

These 3 character-driven trucks are the core of our collection, the ones we use for everything from off road exploration to runs to the farmer's market to product and lifestyle photography.  In addition to these, we normally have one or two vehicles in the process of importation, restoration or sale to collectors.  We deal almost exclusively in 40, 50 and 60 series Land Cruisers, because while we adore and respect Land Rovers, old Broncos and Scouts, Land Cruisers are our first love and what we know best.

 EL BEIGITO

1977 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER HJ45

Fresh off a 38 year stint on a Costa Rican coffee plantation checking crops and hauling beans, this beige rumbler hits perfection off road with the top left back in the garage. Of course, if the sky clouds, the doors and roof can always be reattached with a few bolts. We like the wind in our hair and getting that motorcycle style feeling of seeing the road blur beneath our feet.

  THE QUEEN OF THE DESERT

1975 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43

This stately beauty is the uncontested queen of the Heritage fleet. Before arriving in Houston, she was the trusted transport of a private school principal in the United Arab Emirates. Shepherding school children across the desert for four decades, she is instilled with a secure, nurturing spirit. However, this handsome lady is also a complete brute on the trails.

       RUBY

      1985 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER HJ47

Registered as an '85, this is one of the last of the 40-series Land Cruisers ever built, with production of the model ending in October of 1984. Since its original purchase in San Jose, Costa Rica, this steadfast and loyal truck served its owner on trips to the grocery store and church, racking up trivial mileage on its bulletproof engine. Ruby came with dealer-option original chrome and the very aptly named “Freeborn Red” paint. We’ve only found one other late model pickup with this rare combination- it’s currently hard at work at a resort in the Himalayas.
